so after a good 2 weeks of postponing the inevitable, from left to right we have: abuelita ramona (my grandma), birthday girl angelica (who is my mom, and really is an angel), erwin (a total, total joker... love's dude, where's my car?), and my roommate tamara (we share a bathroom and by share i mean have already had 1 slightly awkward bathroom misunderstanding).
the grandma is not a mainstay, she's up in santiago for a month or so and then returns to temuco, which is in the south of chile and is also where everyone in this house is originally from. the rest of us 4 will be kicking it for a year and i'm glad. angelica just turned 30 and is training to be an auditor. erwin is 31 and as far as spanish will let me understand, is a works tech support for an international video conference agency. tamara is 29ish i think and like me, is a teacher, though not of the english. lovely people. couldn't have asked for more. end of story.
even bathroom business has become family business, that is true family. hooray for 2% beer!
