important to note, the only reason the andes look as spectacular as they do is that it rained the prior night. apparently in the winter, though close, the pollution is so thick that they are rendered totally invisible. people "forget they exist." i'm excited for inane levels of pollution, but not as excited as i am about raucously celebrating st. patrick's day naked in the middle of a crowded subway station. joke. joke? joke.
